on site dental labWith our on-site dental laboratory and full-time Lab Tech, we are able to deliver several benefits to our patients:

  1. Faster Turnaround Times | With an in-house dental lab, we can significantly reduce the turnaround time for fabrication. Instead of relying on external labs and shipping times, we can produce anything we need promptly, leading to faster treatment completion and improved patient satisfaction.
  2. Better Communication & Collaboration | Having an in-house dental lab facilitates direct communication and collaboration between the Doctor and the Lab Technician(s). The Doctor can work closely with the technician(s) to discuss specific patient cases, provide immediate feedback, and ensure that the final product meets the desired specifications for each individual patient.
  3. Quality Control | With an on-site lab, we have direct control over the quality of your new teeth. Our doctor can closely monitor the fabrication process, ensuring that the materials used, aesthetics, fit, and function meet the highest standard. Any adjustments or refinements can be made promptly, leading to superior quality.
  4. Cost Savings | By having our dental lab in-house, we can take advantage of cost efficiencies that we pass on directly to our patients. This means our patients get the best possible dental product at the lowest price possible.
  5. Customization & Flexibility | An on-site dental lab allows for greater customization and flexibility in fabricating your new teeth. Our practice has complete control over the design, shade matching, and customization of dental prosthetics, ensuring that the final result meets or exceeds your aesthetic and functional expectations.

5-axis milling machineA 5-axis mill is a machine that is capable of performing milling operations on dental restorations using five axes of motion. Traditional milling machines typically operate with three axes (X, Y, and Z), which allow for movement in three directions. However, a 5-axis mill adds two additional axes of rotation (usually referred to as A and B axes) to provide greater flexibility and precision.

The addition of the A and B axes allows the milling machine to tilt and rotate the dental restoration, enabling it to access complex angles and contours. This flexibility is particularly beneficial when milling restorations such as crowns, bridges, implant abutments, and dental prosthetics that require intricate shapes and precise milling.

By having a 5-axis mill in house, we can produce highly accurate and aesthetically pleasing dental restorations with improved efficiency. The advanced technology of a 5-axis mill helps achieve superior fit, optimal occlusion, and enhanced esthetics, resulting in high-quality dental restorations for patients.

X-guide dynamic navigation unitThe X-GUIDE dynamic navigation unit is a groundbreaking technology in implant dentistry that brings a new level of precision and control to implant procedures. This state-of-the-art system uses real-time 3D navigation to guide the placement of dental implants with unparalleled accuracy. By providing visual feedback throughout the procedure, the X-GUIDE allows us to make immediate adjustments, ensuring that implants are positioned exactly where they need to be. This level of precision is crucial for achieving optimal outcomes, particularly in complex cases where the margin for error is minimal.

One of the key benefits of the X-GUIDE system is its ability to enhance surgical accuracy while minimizing the invasiveness of the procedure. Traditional implant placement relies heavily on pre-operative planning and manual skill, which can sometimes lead to deviations from the intended position. With X-GUIDE, we can follow the planned implant path with real-time visual cues, reducing the risk of complications and ensuring that the implant is placed at the ideal angle, depth, and position. This not only improves the overall success rate of implants but also contributes to faster healing times and less postoperative discomfort for patients.

Additionally, the X-GUIDE system offers a more efficient and streamlined workflow. The technology integrates seamlessly with existing 3D imaging systems, such as cone beam CT scanners, allowing for comprehensive treatment planning and execution. The real-time feedback provided by the X-GUIDE reduces the need for guesswork and can shorten the duration of the procedure, making it more comfortable for patients and more efficient for the dental team. This dynamic navigation system represents a significant advancement in implant dentistry, providing both dentists and patients with greater confidence in the accuracy and success of implant procedures.

3D printer dental technologyBy far the biggest advancement in dentistry is the development of 3D printers. Recently the FDA has approved resins that approved for final restorations, dentures, and other dental products. Specifically the Desktop Health Einstein 3D printer has been the leader in the new technology. Firstly, it provides exceptional accuracy and precision in the creation of dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, and dentures.

With its advanced technology, this printer produces high-quality 3D models that allow for a more efficient and streamlined workflow, reducing the time required for traditional manufacturing methods. This not only saves valuable time but also allows for a more cost-effective process that ultimately benefits the patient.

The Einstein 3D printer also enables us to create custom-made prostheses tailored to the specific needs of individual patients. This is particularly important for patients who require complex or challenging dental restorations that cannot be achieved through traditional methods in less than 24 hours post surgery.

Furthermore, the printer’s ability to print in biocompatible materials such as ceramics, resins, and metals, ensures that the final products are safe and reliable, with minimal risk of adverse reactions or complications.

Overall, the Desktop Health Einstein 3D printer provides our office with cutting-edge technology that enhances patient care and satisfaction, increases efficiency and accuracy, and ultimately improves the quality of dental prostheses.

man doing CBCT 3D x-ray at dental office

CBCT stands for ConeBeam Computed Tomography, which is a special type of digital x-ray scanner that dentists use to see a 3D image of your mouth and teeth.

The ConeBeam CT imaging system rotates once around your head while you stand or sit in a chair. The process is quick, simple, and completely painless. We use these scans to provide the best treatment in dental implants, root canals, diagnosis of dental and facial pain, etc.

We can evaluate your teeth and facial structures from literally every angle, in 3D, and in color! Routine x-rays, on the other hand, produce a single flat image with limited information.

You can have absolute confidence and satisfaction in the treatment you receive, knowing we’ve analyzed every problem with 3D technology.

Intra-oral scannerThe use of intra-oral scanners in dentistry offers several benefits, including:

  • Improved accuracy | Intra-oral scanners provide highly accurate digital impressions of a patient’s teeth and oral structures. This reduces the chances of errors that can occur with traditional impression materials and techniques.
  • Time efficiency | Intra-oral scanners can capture digital impressions in just a few minutes, compared to the time-consuming process of creating traditional impressions, which can take 10-15 minutes or more.
  • Improved patient experience | Patients may find intra-oral scanning more comfortable than traditional impressions, as there is no need for uncomfortable impression trays and material.
  • Improved communication | Digital impressions can be easily shared with dental laboratories, making it easier to communicate treatment plans and collaborate with other dental professionals.
  • Better outcomes | The use of intra-oral scanners can improve the overall quality of dental restorations and other treatments, leading to better outcomes for patients.

Overall, the use of intra-oral scanners can improve the efficiency, accuracy, and comfort of dental treatments while enhancing the patient experience and outcomes.
